The DRDP (2015) Portfolio Phone application, sponsored by the California Department of Education is a job aid intended for use by teachers and other child service providers implementing the DRDP. The application provides a way to organize child observations enabling an easier, faster assessment process. The features of the app include: video, photo, and text storage in anecdotal note format; the ability to tag multiple children on one note; and use of one note for multiple measures. Data from the classroom or a single child may be shared with between providers, such as a special education teacher, to facilitate collaboration between a special education provider and a child’s early care and education teacher/caregiver. A wireless internet connection is required to access this application. Additional tips and resources can be found on the Desired Results website.
